Enter our time machine and journey back 230 million years into the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods when dinosaurs roamed the Earth. Explore lifelike, robotic creatures, including a Tyrannosaurus Rex, Apatosaurus, Triceratops mother and baby, and Maiasaurus with an egg nest and 3 juveniles.
This new exhibit will entertain and educate, as you experience the magnitude of dinosaur size and learn the difference between meat and plant-eating dinosaurs.

Why drive into town when you can see quality theatre in Katy? Translated by Richard Wilbur, this is a complex 17th century French farce by Moliere, animated by deception and misunderstanding. At its core is a young woman named Ascagne who has spent her life wearing masculine disguises for the sake of inheritance. She cleverly marries her sister Lucille's suitor Valere by disguising herself during the midnight ceremony, and this sets off a chain of events that change the lives of all those around.

Saturday, May 19 - FREE Make A Splash Water Safety Event

This event will feature national & local vendors such as U.S. Army Corps, American Red Cross, Willowfork Fire & Rescue and many others that will hold demonstrations and show various types of water safety equipment.  A number of interactive displays will be available for children of all ages.  This event will also give children an opportunity to get in the water and learn from certified swim instructors in the pool at Cinco Ranch High School.

Old Town Katy Market Days was established in 2001. With a new theme each month, it is sure to be a different experience every time you come! Themes have varied from Quilt shows, Antique and Collectibles, Original Vintage Movie Posters, Gourd Festival and even the Car Trunk Sale (held in conjunction with the biannual Katy City Wide Garage Sale). You will find local produce, free range eggs, local honey, organic, beef, chicken and lamb all raised locally.

Thursday evenings from 5 to 8 p.m. the Museum hosts Free Family Nights, during which all admission fees are waived and families are able to come to the Museum and experience everything CMH has to offer.
