Hello, my name is Sonja and I am thrilled about becoming your new Katy area Macaroni Kid Publisher! As a mom of two amazing little kiddos, I get uber excited about kid-friendly activities, finding deals to benefit the family, and reading articles about and discussing topics around parenting.
To share a little more about me; I am married with a 2-year-old girl and a 7-month-old baby boy. I have lived in the Houston area for almost 6 years, primarily in the Richmond/Katy area. I left a corporate career after almost 20 years to start and run a small, kid-friendly business that allows more time for me to spend with my family. I love to cook, run, and travel, although I am doing far less of the ladder two activities since becoming a mother.
I look forward to sharing information about upcoming community events and hope I get a chance to meet many of you in attendance. Make sure to say hello when you see me!
